Lynda has been sharing her love of music with piano students of all ages for over 20 years!   Knowing that every child learns differently, she adjusts her teaching style to meet the individual needs of each student.  Lynda is a patient, relaxed and compassionate teacher who believes that students learn best while having fun.  She inspires her students with songs they love to play but also challenges them to try music of many different styles and genres.

Lynda was born in Ohio but has spent her last 30 years in Texas. She started taking piano lessons in the second grade and was accompanying school choirs and playing at church by the time she was in middle school.   In high school, she accompanied the concert choir and sang with both her high school’s Show Choir and the Ohio Honors Chorale.  She studied piano and organ at Anderson University where she was the chapel organist and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music Education.  She has taught piano lessons for over 20 years, directed the Children’s Music Ministries and played the piano/organ for her church in Grapevine, Texas, and taught elementary music in the public schools for 24 years which included directing vocal choirs, chime choirs, and percussion groups.  Sharing music with others brings her joy!
